1- Recognize great work
It gives self-satisfaction when the employee feel recognized, and will motivate him to give more.
2- Set small, measurable goals
Make it piece by piece it will be easier for the team, any small goal they achieve will motivate them to do the next, and so on..
3- Celebrate results:
Make them proud of themselves amongst the team members, the will feel they are important and dong something great,
4- Stay positive:
Always focus on the good results, it will reduce the mistakes gradually, rather than focus on the mistakes.
5- Take regular breaks:
Breaks gives them a chance to breath, it will generate new energy then they can complete the trip with a better results, rather than die in the middle way..
6- Stay healthy:
Encourage the team to stay healthy, the weak & sick body will not help in getting their goals achieved, and then all will arrive together at same time.
7- See and share the big picture:
If they see and know all circumstances, they will feel they are part from the leadership team not behind.
8- Be transparent:
If you tell all truth and not hiding any work issues they will trust you more as a leader, and will follow you even in the difficult times.
9- Provide clarity:
Make all clear, no doubts, the person usually is against what he don’t understand or what don’t know, don’t put them in the gray zone.
10- Envision and share positive outcomes:
Help the team understand what it would mean to achieve that objective. When someone makes real progress toward that objective or outcome, share that progress as a source of motivation for everyone.
